Todai Health is peer mentorship — not clinical care, not an emergency service, and not an autonomous AI. Here's how we keep that boundary honest: how Care Mentors are trained, how AI supports the work without replacing it, and what we do with your data.

What protects you.

Trained Care Mentors

Mentors complete structured training, mock sessions, and team sign-off before working with their first Member.

AI-assisted safety tools

An AI layer supports mentors with risk awareness, scope guardrails, and contextual prompts — never decisions.

Private by default

Your sessions and entries are visible to you and your Care Mentor. Anything shared with a clinician is shared by you, outside the app.

Clear scope

Peer mentorship, not medical care. We don't diagnose, treat, or change your medication.

Privacy details — what we collect, how we store it, and your rights — live in our privacy policy. For data requests, write to hello@todaihealth.com.

Medication reminders in the app are informational only. Todai Health is not responsible for missed doses, missed notifications, device settings, connectivity issues, technical failures, or medication decisions. Always follow your clinician's instructions and your medication's labeling.

Onboarding + mock sessions

Self-paced modules followed by two practice sessions with the team before live work begins.

Coaching framework

Every session has a structure. Mentors aren't asked to improvise around hard moments.

Escalation paths

When something is beyond peer support, mentors have a clear protocol and team backup. They are never alone.

Peer community

Mentors meet with each other and the Todai team regularly to share what's working and what's hard.

What the AI does

AI does

  • Surface risk signals from session context so mentors can respond intentionally
  • Hold the coaching framework's guardrails — keeping sessions in scope
  • Help mentors prepare and write structured session summaries
  • Run behind-the-scenes transcription for safety analysis and quality review

AI does not

  • Diagnose, treat, or triage anything medically
  • Replace mentor judgment or make autonomous decisions about your care
  • Provide a chatbot you message for advice — there is no member-facing AI chat in the beta
  • Show live transcripts or captions during your sessions
